Sarah Messina is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, teacher and community organizer living and working in Philadelphia. Sarah has spent the last 15+ years growing her art career specializing in a wide range of print and web projects that include illustration, graphic design, social media management and content creation, and event production. Sarah has partnered with a wide range of clients and focuses on working with small businesses, brands and media companies that invoke drive and impactful ideals that align with hers.
Along with Sarah’s design career, her passion for community and art has been built on years of connecting with and working with other artists. She finds joy in uplifting those around her and she is continuously inspired by other artists and their stories.
The drive behind connecting art and community together has shone through in Sarah’s time in graduate school. In pursuing a Master of Arts in American Studies at Stockton University, she has been able to focus her research on the intersection of race, gender, disabilities, sexuality, queerness, and art.
